Dr. Alex Brooks-Schrauth is a Wichita native. She completed her undergraduate degrees at K-State and received her doctor of veterinary medicine from Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She strives daily to recognize, nurture and preserve the human-animal bond. Her specific interests are client education, wound care, nutrition and integrative/complementary medicine. She is always willing to meet your pet on their terms. Outside of work, she and her son take care of their "menagerie" at home of dogs, cats, birds, "Elvis" the pig, and a stoic turtle named "Sigmund." She enjoys the outdoors, power-lilfting, and fostering her ever-growing library of antique books.
