Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) - Wichita

VESHW has given me the opportunities to learn, grow and figure out what kind of RVT that I wanted to be. It was this hospital that helped me decide that I wanted to make a difference in veterinary medicine. I wanted to teach and see others find their passion, achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential.

Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital of Wichita has grown, not only in numbers but with an amazing new building. The new hospital is a huge upgrade and much needed for Emergency and Critical Care which has taken our care to the next level.

I get to work beside some of the hardest working humans I have ever met. They give it their all each and every day, now more than ever. The dedication and patient advocacy is like nothing I have ever seen. I am lucky to be a part of it and can't help but be proud of our work and level of care our patients receive.

This is my family. I get grind and hustle with them everyday, through it all. Would not change it one bit!

Wichita has truly always been home to me - I have lived in other places, during college and my first veterinary job, but I always knew I would return. Wichita is a wonderful place to call home: all the benefits of a city, amazing food, entertainment, engaging "fests", and yet so close to beautiful nature. Just drive 30 minutes north to the glorious Flint Hills which are beautiful during every season. This Kansas girl believes everyone should be able to experience the beauty of the rippling golden wheat in early June! We also have the best sunsets!

I am thankful to be a part of this amazing group of people at VESHW where true TEAMWORK makes all the difference! From doctors to support staff, every team member is essential for us to provide 24/7 quality veterinary medical care. We support and encourage each other to be the best we can; our veterinary nurses are allowed to perform as the paraprofessionals they are, and this makes such an incredible difference for our hospital.  At VESHW we are work FAMILY.

I absolutely love being a part of VESHW! I love that I get to work for a hospital that is truly about saving animals. We offer several different payment options for our clients and have a shock and pain program for owners in financial crisis. We also work very closely with local rescues to give animals another opportunity to receive medical care if their owners are unable. I love that this is an emergency clinic and you never know what is going to come in.
