Our dog Maxx got hit by a car 2 weeks after my back surgery and I saw it happen. My neighbors helped me load Maxx into my mom's truck and we rushed him to the E.R at 8:30 at night and this Pet E.R. saved my dog's life. I wanted to thank them so much, without them I wouldn't have Maxx today. They do and hopefully will continue to do great things for a long time to come. Again, I thank the Pet E.R. I recommend them highly!!!!

Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita is an extension of the services provided by your primary care veterinarian. Whether your pet is seen by one of our emergency doctors or by our specialists, we will work closely with your veterinarian as part of a team of professionals to provide optimal care for your pet.
The purpose of this clinic is to provide emergency and nursing care overnight, as well as on weekends and major holidays. In addition, VESHW offers specialty surgical care and advanced dentistry on weekdays by appointment. A licensed veterinarian and support staff are on duty from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. weekdays and 11:00 a.m. Saturday through 8:00 a.m. Monday morning. We are also open through the day and nighttime hours on major holidays.
If your pet has a medical emergency, call your veterinarian’s office for instruction. When calling your daytime veterinarian during weekend and evening hours, you may be given the telephone number (262-5321) to the Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital. Referring you to our emergency veterinary hospital is the best way to ensure that your pet will be cared for in a timely manner. Your pet will be treated in a facility that has been specifically designed and equipped to treat emergency cases.
